3 months (Also offered as a Fast Track Course - 1 Day - condensed version)
This course is our longest and most in depth course, aimed at giving you the most comprehensive foundation possible! There is so much more to coaching than showing someone how to do something and this course covers many of these extra concepts and ideas. The course is designed by Kayleigh, owner and founder of Absolute Aerials. How to pass the course and what happens next??
Certification: There will be a written exam as well as a practical exam. You must be able to understand, demonstrate and explain concepts. You must have attended the total hours to pass the course. If you do not pass you may book private sessions with the relevant coach of the area of difficulty and try another exam when both parties feel comfortable. You will receive an Absolute Aerials Accredited certificate upon completion.
When you finish the intro course you graduate at a co-coach (beginner coach) level. However you will already be well on the way to developing the skills required to coach on your own. For some it will be experience, age/maturity or even personality, confidence, understanding and communicating with others that is needed to develop further. You are welcome to apply for our Beginner 1 teacher training course upon completion of the Introductory teacher training course. If you would like to study the intro and beginner levels in the same weekend then you are welcome to apply to do this.
When you graduate, you will automatically receive your accreditation for one year. After this, a yearly membership fee of $150AUD will be required to remain accredited. This fee can be used as credit towards a re-fresher course each year and will allow you to continue to teach the Absolute Aerials methodology as you are updated on any new and improved syllabus material. We believe that self development is ongoing and we will therefore always be studying, adding and improving our methods as time goes on. In the future you will also be able to provide your students with technical examination opportunities giving both students, coaches and studios goals and motivation. You will receive ongoing support from Kayleigh or a member of her team if you have any questions about your coaching experiences. You will also receive an Absolute Aerials Accredited T-shirt or merchandise. This fee is for individual coach's only. You may not pass on the information to a secondary coach who also teaches the program, they must also attend the teacher training and pay the annual membership fee to be accredited.
Future EmploymentCompletion of this course does not get you an automatic job with Absolute Aerials or any studio. It provides you with information required to be an Absolute Aerials accredited coach which it is then up to you how you use it. Coaching develops not only through courses, but through experience and helping with classes.

Why take our course??
If our opening paragraph wasn't enough to convince you we would like to mention that this course will be part of an ongoing program where over time, coaches of an extremely high level will be evolve. This could be YOU!
Did someone say NO CRAMMING!! Our 3 month course is scheduled so all the knowledge can really sink in, no 16 hour weekends and leaving with a mushy brain!
The Absolute Aerials studio at Chevallum is in its 10th year of operation and you can see the success of our teaching methods in the quality of performance our students and coaches consistently show. Kayleigh has used her methods to teach all the current and past Absolute Aerials staff and award winning students.
Most of our staff came to Absolute Aerials as students with no prior experience and over the years Kayleigh has transformed them into the coaches our students know and love today. She has decided to formalise her teaching methods, placing importance on technical aspects so that a standardised approach including examinations/assessments can be followed by our rapidly growing industry. This will in turn grow and continually increase the quality of the industry and create more opportunity for up and coming professionals.
